FPSA – Food Processing Suppliers Association’s FIT Program hit the road today visiting member plants. As a part of FIT training, students visit at least one OEM and one processing plant. We were very fortunate to spend time learning at West Liberty Foods and Provisur Technologies Inc! We saw highly automated food processing lines and we learned about equipment with advanced technology that is transforming the industry. As the icing on the cake, many former FIT students trained, toured and gave advice to the new students that will soon be joining the industry!

A new piece of equipment generously donated by Fusion Tech Integrated was received by the FIT Program. Students in yesterday’s class assembled, used electrical/mechanical skills, and trained with a former FIT Student and current technician of Fusion Tech. 
Through the generous support of our membership, we are able to provide quality training and real-world interaction with those that are service the equipment that sustains our industry.
